Barry Sullivan, Lead Business Consultant - Fleet

 

 

Barry's trucking experience began in 1989. He has held various jobs in the trucking industry ranging from truck driver to terminal manager, a background that he draws on when advising ATBS clients. Barry also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance. In his free time he coaches youth sports and spends as much time as possible with his son.


Since starting at ATBS in 2002, Barry has worked with many of our partner carriers. Currently he works with JB Hunt, Knight Transportation, Davis Transport, Diamond Transportation, Miller Transporters, Triple Crown, McCollisters and many of our Independent Drivers. Barry occasionally can be heard advising drivers on the ATBS Business & Beyond radio show.

Carissa Berres, Administrator

 

 

After starting at ATBS in August 2006, Carissa was instrumental in coordinating and managing the initial CABS students through the education program, setting up systems and processes to enroll students and track their progress. Currently she supports the Fastruck, Triage and some Fleet Business Consultants. By using her strong organizational skills to juggle multiple responsibilities, she is able to provide efficient and friendly customer service to many ATBS clients. Carissa has a degree in Linguistics and Language Study from Northwestern College in St. Paul, MN. In her free time, Carissa loves to read and learn languages. She has studied French, Spanish, Greek and Latin.

Chris Harrington, Fleet Lead Business Consultant

 

 

Chris has been in the trucking Industry for more than a decade. He has experience as a truck driver and still holds a valid Class 'A' CDL. In addition to driving a truck, he has been a Freight Broker and has experience managing a fleet of trucks. Chris has been with ATBS since September 2001 and was one of the first employees of the company, watching it grow from just a few clients to the thousands we assist today. In his free time, Chris likes motorcycle riding, snowboarding and spending time with friends and family.


Currently, Chris works with the following carriers including many of our Flatbed carriers. His clients work for Anderson Specialized, Anderson Trucking, J&R Schugel, Marten Transport, Mav I/C, Maverick Specialized & Stan Koch & Son's Trucking Inc.

David Wolff, Fleet Lead Business Consultant

 

 

David came to ATBS in June 2004 with experience both behind the wheel of a truck and managing a business. During college, he drove a Peterbilt 379 delivering containers in New York City. Most recently, before joining ATBS, David owned a retail camera store in downtown Denver and is a professional photographer to this day. He can relate to the challenges faced by independent business owners and uses his background on a daily basis to assist owner-operators in managing their businesses and improving their bottom line. When he's not at work, David enjoys training hunting dogs, bird hunting and pursuing his photography.


David works with Schneider National and Schneider Finance.

Don Neil, Business Consulting

 

 

Don started at ATBS in October 2006. He has a strong background in banking and finance coming to ATBS with almost 35 years in the banking and consulting industries. His experience includes virtually all aspects of banking including Operations, Retail and Commercial Banking. Don is a graduate of the University of Idaho with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology. He is also a decorated Vietnam Army Veteran. He has been awarded the Bronze Star, Purple Heart and Distinguished Service medals. Today Don likes to hike, bike, golf and fly fish when he isn't spending time with his young daughter.

Dustin Dowell, Business Consultant - Fleet

 

 

Dustin started at ATBS in July of 2008. Before joining the ATBS show, Dustin was the Marketing and Web Designer for a small local company. He maintained the company's website, worked on product releases, planned company events and tracked website statistics. As an entrepreneur, he has experience in graphic deisng, programming and web design. Dustin graduated from the University of Colorado at Denver, Cum Laude, and has a degree in Business Information Systems. He is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, an honors society, as well as the Information Systems Association. Dustin works with drivers from ATS, Boyd Brothers, CRST and WTI.

Eric Petersen, Fleet Lead Business Consultant

 

 

Before joining ATBS in January 2005, Eric worked at UPS as a dispatcher/load planner. He also supervised loading docks including unloading, sorting, Hazmat, irregular and small sort. He gained experience at Motor Cargo loading and unloading flatbeds before moving into a sales and customer service role. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing Management from the University of Utah and has an Associates Degree in Business. Eric uses this knowledge and experience when he consults with new drivers in the first 90 days of their work with ATBS, helping them start out on the correct path for business success. When he's not consulting with drivers, Eric enjoys spending time with his family and playing soccer and golf.

George Matta, Managing Business Consultant - Specialized

 

 

George started at ATBS in October 2004 as a Customer Service Representative for Fleet Consulting. He soon moved to his current position in the Specialized Consulting Department where he works with participating clients, providing education and advice on ways to improve the success of their business. He has a strong background in customer service and is fluent in Spanish. George enjoys sports in his spare time, especially baseball, football and softball. He also enjoys the outdoors and likes to camp when he can find the time.

Janette Spencer, Business Consultant - Fleet

 

 

Janette started driving a truck in 1981 with her husband after selling a beauty shop she owned and operated. She has experience driving team and solo, long haul and local. After driving, she worked in Safety and Dispatch, Customer Service and eventually became a Terminal Manager for TWX in Kelim, Colorado. After work, Janette enjoys reading and bowling.


Janette started at ATBS in February 2003 and works with Daimler Chrysler clients and Independent Drivers who have their own authority.

Jeff McGuinness, Fleet Lead Business Consultant

 

 

Jeff started at ATBS in January 2003 first in the Client Accounting Department and then as a Business Consultant. Prior to ATBS, he worked as a Financial Analyst for the Safety and Risk Departments of American Medical Response, Inc. He also helped to promote small and large businesses in the Denver area, working in the Business Development Department of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce. His undergraduate degree is in Economics and Jeff has achieved an MA in Human Resources/Personnel Administration. He has lived in Colorado since 1993 and tries to spend as much free time as possible in the mountains, enjoying the outdoors.


Currently, Jeff works with drivers from Greatwide, Navajo and Raider Express.

John Cook, Business Consultant - Fleet

 

 

John joined ATBS in January of 2009. He began his career in the transportation business in 1985 as an estimator at U-Haul. He quickly became a moving consultant with assorted van line operations (Mayflower, United and Northamerican). John then spent 7 years as a general manager for ProDrivers, a staffing company for CDL truck drivers based in Colorado. John loves to travel and has visited 22 foreign countries. He spends most of his free time with his wife, sons and grandchild. He enjoys bicycling, weight training and when he finds time, kayaking. Currently, John works with drivers from DART, Hill Brothers, Linn Star, PGT, R.E. Garrison, and USXpress.

Marc Maes, Business Consulting

 

 

Marc started at ATBS in the Accounting Department in January of 2008. Marc worked in the accounting and reconciliation department where he reviewed client tax returns, incoming partner carrier settlements and monthly downloads. He has since moved to the Business Consulting Department where he assists drivers with their business needs. Previous to joining ATBS, Marc gained experience and knowledge from assisting with budgeting, quarterly reports, time management, payroll, maintaining client information and records, as well as inventory control and reporting. When Marc isn't at ATBS, he is either fishing, camping or attending local sporting events.


Marc works with clients who drive for the following fleets: Risinger Brothers Transfer, J.B. Hunt, Knight Transportation, and John Christner Trucking.

Matt Jester, Business Consultant - Fleet

 

 

Matt has been a member of the military for the last 13 years. After returning home from serving in Operation Iraqi Freedom from March 2003 through July 2004, he attended Officer Candidate School and is presently an Infantry Platoon Leader. In addition to his military training and discipline, Matt holds a degree in General Business Administration with an emphasis in Economics, Banking and Investments from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. He started at ATBS in September 2007. Matt enjoys traveling having studied abroad in London, England for six months. In his free time, he likes to play hockey and snowboard.

Melissa Salyer, Business Consultant - Specialized

 

 

Melissa joined ATBS in January 2005. Prior to ATBS, she was an Office Manager for a garbage removal company before purchasing her own truck and running her own business. She eventually expanded to two trucks, handling 1,500 clients and running all aspects of the office. She has experience with bookkeeping, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, recruiting, inventory management and route management.


Melissa's career at ATBS began in the Tax Department, where she answered tax questions and assisted in handling a variety of administrative tasks. She then moved to the Fleet Consulting Department as a Customer Service Representative welcoming new clients to ATBS services and assisting Business Consultants with their clients. Melissa is now a Business Consultant working with our Swift clients.

Michael Hosted, Business Consulting

 

 

Michael started at ATBS in January of 2009 after receiving his Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from Purdue University. Prior to joining ATBS, he worked for Celadon as a Financial Analyst. He assisted in fuel purchases and payments, contributed in the development of Celadon's owner-operator program, and provided analytical reports to improve maintenance efficiency. When Michael is able to, he continues to work at his family's farm and helps manage employees for various projects. Michael enjoys skiing, golfing, playing basketball and spending time outdoors.

Savannah Aragon, Customer Relationship Representative

 

 

Savannah started at ATBS in October 2007 and after completing her training, she joined the Specialized Consulting Department as a Customer Relations Representative. She provides a high level of customer service to her clients letting them know we appreciate their business. She assists the Business Consultants, keeping them organized and scheduling appointments with clients. In her free time, Savannah likes to spend a lot of time with her daughter, taking her to the park so they can enjoy the outdoors. If time allows, she also enjoys cross-stitch.

Stacey Janis, Fleet Customer Service Representative

 

 

Stacey started at ATBS in November 2007 helping Business Consultants and our partner carriers with any administrative work needed. Prior to joining ATBS, she worked for five years in administration and customer service at a printing and office supply company. When Stacey isn't helping Business Consultants or ATBS clients, she likes to read, cook and spend time with her husband and two children.

Tris Coffin, CMC, Business Consultant - Fleet

 

 

Tris spent his first day in a truck as a furniture mover for Allied Van Lines in Detroit, Michigan. Tris has extensive management and training experience in Fortune 500 companies, spending the last 25 years as a management consultant and trainer. In 1985, he was elected a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) by the Institute of Management Consultants USA signifying that he meets the highest global standards and ethical canons of the profession.  Fewer than 1% of all consultants have achieved this level of excellence. An alumnus of Brown University, Tris also belongs to a 13-member "Men's Extreme Skiing Group."

Since 2007, Tris has helped provide business solutions for clients at Graebel Van Lines, O&S Trucking and USXpress and is a CABS Instructor for some of our corporate CABS students.

Dan White, Business Consultant - Triage

 

 

When Dan came to ATBS in March 2004, he had 28 years of experience in the traffic organization at Western Electric, AT&T and Lucent Technologies. He also spent one year as a Dispatch and Warehouse Manager for North American Van Lines. As a Triage Business Consultant, Dan works with drivers who are struggling in their business and need in-depth assistance to get back on their feet. He uses his previous experience and knowledge of business management and the trucking industry to develop action plans that will help turn around his client's businesses. In his free time, Dan enjoys spending time with his family and watching sports.

Robert Butcher, Business Consultant - Triage

 

 

Robert came to ATBS in March 2001 with a diverse background. He worked in geology at the University of Arizona, and then went to law school in Denver at Denver University. After passing the BAR, he opted to postpone practicing law. Instead, he got a CDL license and drove a car hauler for a year. He has also worked for several years as Safety Director for two carriers. Robert is a licensed attorney, truck driver and Business Consultant. His unique experience makes him eminently qualified to work with our critical care clients in the Triage Program calling upon his legal, safety and business experience to help increase the success of his clients. When he's not working, Robert enjoys motorcycling and remodeling his home.

Chris Goodsell, Business Consultant - Premium

 

 

Chris started at ATBS in August 2005. Prior to ATBS, he worked at Werner Enterprises as a Fleet Manager, experience he uses every day when working with his clients. Chris has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from Wayne State College and has taken income tax preparation classes on learning how to prepare individual income tax returns. He continuously maintains his knowledge on changes to tax laws especially as they pertain to the trucking industry. In addition to his work as a business consultant, Chris prepares tax returns for ATBS clients during the tax season. When he has the time, he likes to play and watch sports, especially Husker sports. He also spends as much time as possible with his son.

Maintenance Consultants
Bill McClusky, Maintenance Management Business Consultant

 

 

Bill began assisting ATBS MMS Clients with their maintenance concerns in May of 2008. Prior to joining ATBS, Bill worked as a residential remodeling contractor and heavy equipment mechanic. Bill also has experience in several other areas including rebuilding diesel engines and transmissions, service management and at one point, Bill drove a truck for 3 years. When he is not helping MMS clients, Bill enjoys camping, riding dirt bikes, swing dancing and playing competitive PC games.

Floyd Zadra, Customer Support - LEASCO

 

 

Floyd has been in the truck maintenance management and repair business since 1972. He came to ATBS in November 2004 with a variety of experience, most of which was at Ryder Truck Rental where he was a Fleet Maintenance Manager. Additional experience includes Service Manager for Ruan Transportation and Fleet Maintenance Manager for a local fleet in Denver, Colorado. Floyd also worked with Freightliner Warranty for a local dealership for two years. He's currently a Board member of The Colorado Maintenance Council and has held various officer positions since 1996. Currently, Floyd works with clients from ATBS Leasco. In his free time, Floyd likes attending car shows, showing his truck and his favorite color is chrome.

Jim Masloski, Customer Support

 

 

Jim started at ATBS in November 2007. Prior to joining the ATBS customer support team, he worked for eight years with Transwest Trucks as a Warranty Administrator for Freightliner, Sterling and Western Star trucks. Jim has another seven years experience with Transport America in the maintenance department as an Emergency Road Service Advisor. He also handled warranty issues with the OEMs. Additional experience includes a year with Waldoch Crafts building luxury conversion vans and SUVs. He is a graduate of Mankato State University in Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Automotive Engineering Technology. Currently, Jim administers warranty and policy assistance for clients through the Customer Support Center. When he's not working with ATBS customers, Jim likes to be outdoors. He enjoys biking, hiking, fishing, backpacking and big game hunting.

John Miller, Customer Support and RoadGuard Warranty

 

 

John joined ATBS on November 2002 and brought a strong background in service and warranty management with him to ATBS. He has 14 years Parts and Service experience in the Heavy Construction Machinery industry and another 13 years experience with a Class 8 Truck Dealership. At the dealership, he held the positions of Parts Manager, Service Manager and Warranty Manager. John is certified in Class 8 Truck Warranty, Cat Diesel Engine Warranty, Cummins Diesel Engine Warranty and Detroit Diesel Engine Warranty. John graduated from the University of Colorado with a double major in Wildlife Biology and Anthropology. He has spent his time at ATBS as a Customer Support Center representative for the Freightliner Select Truck Program. John also administers ATBS' used truck RoadGuard Warranty. He is an avid hunter and when he's not out hunting with his dogs, he enjoys spending time with his grandkids.

Kim Sheffield, CABS Instructor

 

 

Kim has both graduate and undergraduate degrees in education and taught for 14 years before coming to ATBS in November 2007. Her teaching experience includes secondary, college and adult education. In addition to her education background, Kim also has six years of business experience working with small businesses in the Denver area providing advice and bookkeeping services for individual clients. When she's not at work, Kim enjoys sports, especially skiing, basketball, soccer and softball. Travel is her favorite hobby and she has traveled all over the world. Her more scholarly pursuits include reading, learning languages and lecturing in the community on current events.

Client Accounting Consultants
Cindy Brown, Reconciler

 

 

Cindy was first hired at ATBS as a seasonal employee to help during tax season and was hired permanently in September 2006. Cindy's background includes an Associates Degree in Secretarial Science, legal assistant in a law firm, managing the bookkeeping for her own business, office manager and assistant to an interior designer. Her biggest career change came when she decided to move to Alabama where she attend truck-driving school and obtained her CDL. She teamed for a time and eventually bought her own truck, using ATBS to do her accounting and taxes. Three years later, she was hired by ATBS and now sits on the other side of the desk, having worked in all positions in the Client Accounting Department. She is also part of the Client Accounting training team. Cindy loves all animals, especially her two schnauzers. When she has a chance, she also loves to cook, garden and hike in the mountains.

Katie Wentz, Reconciler

 

 

Katie came to ATBS with a variety of experience including customer service, administration, data entry, training and quality assurance. Her jobs involved creating bookkeeping spreadsheets, interfacing with finance, accounts payable and internal auditing for general ledger journal entry, developing cost analysis reports, conducting research and analyzing reports for data accuracy. Katie also has experience as a Personal Trainer and as a Security Officer. She joined the ATBS team in October 2007 and moved quickly through receipt sorting and data entry. She is currently an account reconciler. Katie assists in the creation of training materials and utilizes her strong training background to train new employees hired to be reconcilers. In her free time, Katie likes to stay active. Her favorite activities are camping, rock climbing, singing, dancing and swimming. She also reads, enjoys road trips and spends time with her family watching movies.

Penny Kammerzell, Review

 

 

Penny began her career with ATBS in December 2003. She brought with her experience in bookkeeping, payroll and the preparation of corporate and personal tax returns. She started as a seasonal employee in the Client Accounting Department and eventually became a full-time employee of ATBS. Her jobs in the Client Accounting department have included receipt sorting, data entry and reconciliation. Currently, she conducts the final review of accounting data for our clients prior to sending the information to the tax department for return preparation. Penny has indirect experience of the trucking industry through her husband who has worked within the industry since 1969. Her interests outside of work include motorcycle riding, needlepoint, reading, and spending as much time as possible with her granddaughter.

Sandra Arnold, Accounting

 

 

Sandra joined the ATBS team in March 2005, working in the Mail Room and in July 2007, she moved to Client Accounting. A native of Kentucky, she relocated to Colorado in 1998. Sandra brings with her a variety of experience, including secretarial/administrative, customer service, data entry and employee training. In addition to having worked in an environmental lab preparing samples for analysis, she also has extensive experience in interfacing with both state and federal agencies. She has worked with a medical company providing equipment and services to the handicapped community, as well as serving as the lead claim reviewer for the Guaranty Agency of Student Loans for the State of Kentucky. Sandra currently performs a variety of duties in the Client Accounting Department, including data entry, processing/reviewing Profit and Loss Statements, researching problem accounts, as well as assisting in training employees in receipt sorting.


Sandra enjoys being outdoors, riding motorcycles, traveling, reading and watching movies. Besides family and friends, her greatest love is all aspects of jewelry making.

Jessica Wood, Tax Resolution Specialist

 

Jessica has over 4 years of experience with Tax Resolution before coming to ATBS where she services individuals and businesses who are experiencing problems with the IRS and State entities. By analyzing each client's issue, this allows her to determine the best source of resolution. Ms. Wood manages and assists with all tax resolution customers through the tax negotiation process and regaining compliance with the IRS.

Celeste Juarez, Senior Tax Accountant

 

 

Celeste started at ATBS in January 2006 and is a Senior Tax Accountant preparing and reviewing client tax returns. Celeste is a graduate of Mountain States Baptist Academy in Thornton, CO and has additional education in Time Management and Management and Leadership Skills. She has completed a Professional Tax Preparer Course with special emphasis in Full Business Returns, Individual Returns and Tax Planning. She has additional education in Wholesale Sales, Professional, Manufacturing, Retail Sales, Construction and Financing Accounting. Her work experience prior to ATBS includes Senior Subrogation Specialist, Claims Analyst, Claims Adjustor and extensive experience as a Tax Preparer. Celeste is also proficient in Spanish. When she is not working on your taxes, Celeste is found working in her yard, dancing or spending time with her girls.

Deb Tibbitts, Senior Tax Accountant

 

 

Deb is a Senior Tax Accountant and has been part of the ATBS Tax Department since January 2005. She has been preparing and reviewing taxes for over ten years and as a senior member of the department, assists in the training and education of new hires. Deb also has 14 years experience working as a parts specialist in the Automotive Industry and is ASE certified. She has a Bachelor's of Science Degree with emphasis in Finance, Accounting and Management. Outside of work, Deb's interests are varied. She has an '86 Chevy Camaro with a tune port fuel injection, 350 motor that she shows and will race for the first time this summer. She is also a big Sci-Fi enthusiast, collecting Sci-Fi memorabilia and watching her favorite shows, Star Trek and Stargate. In addition, Deb likes to paint, produce home movies and write short stories.

Miljana Koprivica, Tax Preparer

 

 

Miljana began her career with ATBS in January 2006. She currently prepares tax returns for ATBS clients, monitoring the status, resolving issues, answering questions and explaining results. She joined ATBS with previous tax preparation experience and experience as a legal secretary, conducting legal research and assisting with the preparation of cases for court. She has an Associate of Applied Sciences in Legal Assisting/Paralegal and a Tax Preparer Certificate from Jackson Hewitt Tax School. She is fluent in Serbian, Croatian and Bosnian. In her free time, Miljana likes to spend time with her family and her dogs. Her biggest hobby at the moment is remodeling her home.

Wayne Roszelle, Senior Tax Accountant

 

 

Wayne started with ATBS in March 2006 and brought with him almost 30 years of tax preparation experience. He is a Senior Tax Accountant and oversees the preparation and review of tax returns, specifically Entity Returns, and stays current on IRS notices, assisting in the education of the rest of the tax team. Before joining ATBS, he worked for five years with a CPA firm where he was responsible for accounting and tax for 40 small Sub S Corporations. When he's relaxing at home, Wayne enjoys reading and model railroading. His favorite pastime however, is enjoying time with his two grandchildren.

Sheri Aaberg, General Manager - LEASCO

 

 

In the fall of 2007, Ms. Aaberg became General Manager of ATBS Leasco, bringing with her a strong background in finance, accounting and management. ATBS Leasco is a carrier-based owner-operator equipment leasing program custom tailored to meet both carrier and owner-operator needs. As General Manager, Ms. Aaberg oversees all aspects of the leasing process including asset acquisition, sales, marketing and financial performance, facilitating and promoting the growth and development of this important business division.


Ms. Aaberg's management and accounting experience spans over 20 years. Prior to 1989, she was Executive Administrator for a large real estate firm then in 1989, she founded AA Enterprises, Inc., an accounting and administrative systems consulting firm. AA Enterprise's clientele ranged from multinational corporations to small businesses. In 1999, the business was sold and Ms. Aaberg went to work for Highline Capital Transportation. As the Vice President and General Manager of Highline, she established and successfully managed their commercial truck portfolio for eight years, from the portfolios inception in 2000.


Ms. Aaberg attended the Universities of Michigan State and Northern Colorado and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting with honors from Regis University in Denver. Ms. Aaberg has been an active contributing member of both the Blue Book Truck Advisory Council and Used Truck Association (UTA). Outside of work, Ms. Aaberg competes regionally in the National Reined Cow Horse Association. She also enjoys golfing and skiing.

Debbie Skoug, Regional Sales Director

 

 

Debbie has worked for ATBS since March 2002. When she came to ATBS, she brought with her a strong background in trucking. For five years, she worked for Marten Transport, a leading national protective service transportation company. She worked in their owner-operator department conducting orientations and assisting the owner-operator-carrier process. In addition to her carrier experience, she has been married to an owner-operator for over 30 years. Debbie obtained her degree in Finance in 1994 and has experience in banking.


Currently, Debbie works in Fleet Sales for ATBS. On a weekly basis, she travels to several ATBS Partner Carriers including CRST, Dart Transit, Marten Transport and Anderson Trucking, speaking to new owner-operators about ATBS products and services. She has spent time learning ATBS operations, specifically tax and accounting processes and each year assists with accounting work during tax season. When she's not promoting ATBS, Debbie likes to spend time with her six grandkids, read and travel.

Jeff Larcom, Regional Sales Director

 

 

Jeff worked for Freightliner Trucks for 13 years before joining ATBS in April 2002. While at Freightliner, he held management positions within several departments including Customer Support, Parts Marketing, Distribution, New Truck Sales and Used Truck Sales. He was also on the Freightliner 2001 organizational turnaround team. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Oregon State University and an MBA from Washington State University.


Currently, Jeff creates sales programs and develops marketing initiatives that bundle ATBS services and resources with Daimler Truck products. Since he started at ATBS, he has marketed ATBS' remarkable ability to continuously provide creative solutions and new products to his clients-solutions that continue to provide excellent value and surpass his customer's expectations. Matt Harris, Vice President - Fleet Sales

 

 

Mr. Harris began working at ATBS in June of 2002.  Prior to this and upon graduating from Texas Christian University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Speech Communication and a minor in General Business, Mr. Harris worked in labor relations for two years at Mrs Baird's Bakeries in Ft. Worth, Texas. He then attended graduate school at Auburn University, earning his MBA with an emphasis in Marketing. While there, he was a consultant with the Small Business Development Center for his graduate assistantship, working with local small business owners to help them develop strategies and fine-tune business plans to secure lending and improve profitability.


Mr. Harris started at ATBS as a Business Consultant and soon moved into a management role overseeing all of Fleet Consulting and Inside Sales. Currently, Mr. Harris is a sales executive dividing his time between prospective and existing fleet relationships for both ATBS business services & Leasco. Mr. Harris regularly attends trade exhibitions and events, conducting business classes and presentations for the industry. Richard DeForest, Vice President - Fleet Sales

 

 

Mr. DeForest started in the trucking industry in 1969 and has experienced virtually every aspect of the industry. He has held titles that include Night Dispatcher, Dispatcher, Salesman, Recruiter, Operations Manager & Director, Marketing Director, General Manager, Vice President and President for both small and large carriers. His experience includes work in dry van, refrigerated and flatbed operations. Mr. DeForest was also Regional Manager for a successful brokerage office and General Manager of Operations for a Logistics Company. He has consulted with several carriers in the industry ranging in size from $6M to $42M, successfully correcting Operational, Marketing, Safety, Personnel and Financial problems that caused unprofitable operations.


Mr. DeForest began his career in sales at ATBS in November 2001. He has been instrumental in growing the company's business through developing and maintaining relationships with ATBS Partner Carriers. He utilizes his extensive knowledge of the industry to educate drivers, carrier personnel and ATBS employees in many ways. Mr. DeForest conducts business seminars for carriers, participates and presents at industry trade shows, writes and publishes quarterly newsletters and conducts internal ATBS training sessions. He was also a key source of information for the ATBS CABS program. When he is not working, he likes to fly-fish, camp and work on home projects.

Pat Payne, Inside Sales Representatives

 

 

Pat has been with ATBS since January 2006. He is currently a Tax Preparer and Tax Consultant for our Company Driver Service Plan. Pat has a background in Marketing, Operations and Theater. He has experience as a Managing Director, Fundraising Coordinator, Marketing Associate and Operations Manager for several local theater companies. He also manages a Marketing Consulting Company that serves small to medium-sized businesses, helping clients create and execute marketing and financial plans. Pat holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Northern Colorado and has completed Tax Theory and Income Tax Return Preparation courses. Amy Nack, Director of Marketing

 

  Ms. Nack is a dynamic and innovative marketing leader with 10+ years of broad-ranging experience in industries ranging from small consumer marketing firms to multi-billion dollar healthcare distributors. Amy heads the ATBS Marketing Team leading all campaigns from inception to launch. She is responsible for the website and online strategy and supports all marketing endeavors in the B2B and B2C New Business Development efforts.

Amy lives in Boulder with her children, Jackson and Marcus. Gabe Melchor, Inside Sales Representative

 

Gabriel has been a part of the ATBS enrollment team since June 2011. Gabriel brings with him a wealth of experience in sales and transportation. Elizabeth Bright, Administrative Assistant Marketing and Sales

 

Elizabeth has been the Inside Sales and Marketing Administrative Assistant at ATBS since August, 2011.

She came to ATBS with several years of Administrative experience, working with both small, locally owned businesses, as well as large corporations in Colorado and beyond.

Coming from a long line of military personnel, Elizabeth spent her childhood living on both U.S. coasts, but has found a home in Colorado. She graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a degree in Journalism and Film.  In her free time, she enjoys classic movies, music, hiking, and board games.
