HOW DOES TRIAGE WORK?

A driver enters the Triage program based on trigger metrics, determined by the carrier or finance company. The following are some examples of trigger metrics:

• Over 45 days past due with truck payments
• Requests for payment extensions
• Repeated requests for advances or over-advancing
• Major maintenance issues
• Refusing loads or low monthly miles
• Tax issues

ATBS Triage Consultants manage the owner-operator for up to three months developing an Action Plan and Turnaround Plan that includes business and personal assessments and needs.

• An initial assessment determines status of the owner-operator and their psychological and emotional state
• Assessment status can be stable, fair, serious, critical or terminal
